Limited to 400 examples worldwide and only 10 allocated for the U.K. market, the First Edition version of the top M Performance 8 Series model will be mechanically identical to the regular M850i xDrive.
All First Editions are powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, producing 523bhp and 750Nm of torque. It feeds its power through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system; 0-62mph takes a claimed 3.7 seconds and the top speed which is limited to 155 mph
The First Edition is a luxury sports car featuring an exclusive interior trim taken from the BMW Individual range as well as an a long equipment list to go with its sporty face lift. So, there is a new 20in alloy wheels with a bespoke design, and black tailpipe trims. A carbon roof and exterior package are optional extras.
On the exterior Your eyes will be dazzled by The Frozen Barcelona Blue metallic, which has been specifically developed for this model. This is further combined with the BMW kidney grille frame and slats, the air breather applications and tailpipe trims are all finished in black. Also included is the M Carbon roof and an M Carbon exterior package as standard.
The interior, you will be cocooned in full leather trim in the novel colour combination Ivory White/Night Blue. The matching interior design features also comprise the M leather-covered steering wheel as well as the BMW Individual Alcantara roof liner, each finished in the colour Night Blue.
The BMW M850i xDrive Coupé First Edition will be produced at the BMW Dingolfing plant in May, and on sale from June 2019 priced at £121,995 OTR.
